Ampli
Your agentic social media scheduler: plan and publish to every channel from one calendar, or let your AI agent schedule for you.
Ampli is your agentic social media scheduler built for creators and small teams. Schedule and publish to TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads, Facebook, YouTube and X, from one calendar and queue. Write once and tailor the caption for each channel, bulk-schedule a week of posts in one go, publish now or save drafts, and post every format that matters: Reels, Stories, carousels, Shorts, Instagram trial reels, TikTok drafts and long posts for X Premium accounts. When the queue runs low, Ampli can fill it with slideshows, carousels and pins built on templates modeled after posts that went viral.
What sets Ampli apart is that it is built for AI agents. Its MCP server and REST API let Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf and any MCP client schedule and publish for you on autopilot: upload your photos and videos, post them across every channel on a schedule you describe in plain words, or run one of the preset viral templates to create the post first. Agent access is included on every plan, and posts your agent writes use no Ampli credits.
Best for: Creators, founders and small teams who want one calendar for every channel, run by hand or by their AI agent
- Schedule to 8 networks
- Bulk scheduling + calendar
- MCP + API on every plan
- Free plan, no card
MeetEdgar
A social media automation tool that fills a weekly schedule from a categorized library of evergreen posts and reposts them when new content runs out.
MeetEdgar (often just "Edgar") is built around a content library sorted into categories. You set weekly time slots per category and Edgar fills them, re-sharing older posts once the new ones are used up. It publishes to the major networks including Bluesky, Threads and Google Business Profile, with an AI caption helper called Inky and an inbox on its higher plan, and it targets solo entrepreneurs, coaches and small businesses.
Best for: Solo entrepreneurs who want evergreen posts on autopilot

Which one should you choose?
Choose Ampli if…
- You want a full calendar and per-channel captions. Ampli puts every scheduled post in one calendar and queue and lets you tailor the caption for each channel; MeetEdgar uses weekly time slots with a two-week Queue list and does not document per-network caption editing.
- You want more channels for less. Ampli Pro covers 20 channels for $25/mo after a 7-day free trial; MeetEdgar starts at $29.99/mo for 5 accounts, or about $24.91/mo billed yearly.
- You want an AI agent to do the scheduling. Ampli's MCP server and REST API let Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor upload media and schedule or publish across every channel from a plain-language request, on every plan; MeetEdgar lists no public API or MCP server, only Zapier.
- When you need fresh posts to schedule, not only recycled ones, Ampli can make them. It generates TikTok and Instagram slideshows, carousels and Pinterest pins from a link, topic or pasted text, on templates modeled after posts that went viral. Edgar's Inky writes captions and hashtags.
MeetEdgar may suit you if…
- Your strategy is reposting a large back catalog of evergreen content by category, and you want the schedule to refill itself.
- You want up to 20 team members on any plan at no extra cost.
- You post to Bluesky or Google Business Profile, which Ampli does not support.
Frequently asked questions
Is Ampli better than MeetEdgar?
For creators and small teams, yes. Ampli puts every channel in one calendar with per-channel captions, starts with a 7-day free trial, covers 20 channels for $25 a month, and lets Claude or ChatGPT schedule posts through its MCP server. When you need new content, it can also generate slideshows, carousels and pins on viral templates. MeetEdgar fits better if your plan is to recycle a large library of evergreen posts by category.
How does pricing compare?
Ampli has a Free plan with 2 channels and 30 posts a month and no credit card. Pro is $25/mo for 20 channels and Premium is $49/mo for 40, both after a 7-day free trial, and Agency is $80/mo for 100 channels. Every paid plan includes unlimited posts (X posts with links are capped per month), and every paid plan includes monthly AI credits. MeetEdgar has two plans: Eddie at $29.99/mo for 5 accounts and EDGAR at $49.99/mo for 25 accounts, with about 17% off on annual billing.
Does MeetEdgar have a free plan?
No. MeetEdgar offers a 30-day free trial with full access, and your payment method is charged when it ends unless you cancel. Ampli has a Free plan with 2 channels and 30 posts a month and no credit card. Pro and Premium start with a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers, with a card at signup and no charge until the trial ends.
Does MeetEdgar have an API or MCP server?
MeetEdgar does not list a public API or MCP server. It connects to other apps through Zapier, mainly to pull content into the Edgar Library. Ampli offers an MCP server and REST API for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients, and posts your own agent writes use no Ampli credits.
Which networks does each tool support?
Both publish to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads and YouTube Shorts. MeetEdgar adds Bluesky and Google Business Profile.
Does Ampli recycle evergreen posts like MeetEdgar?
Not yet. Ampli has no evergreen recycling queue. It focuses on scheduling and publishing, with bulk scheduling and one calendar for every channel, and can generate new posts when your queue runs low. If reposting a back catalog by category is your strategy, MeetEdgar is built for that.
How we compared
We read each tool's public pricing page, feature pages and help center and recorded what every plan includes. Yes means the feature is available as described. Limited means it is only on higher plans, sold as an add-on, or restricted in a way the numbered note explains. No means it is not offered, or we found no documentation of it. Ampli's column lists only features that are live in production today.
